Name: Susan Mayer-Kane

This is Susan Mayer. She's a motivated woman with many roles to fill; mother, friend, neighbor, wife, illustrator. Her luck with men was incredibly unlucky until recently, when she married her current husband. After her first husband Karl left her for another woman, she dated plumber Mike Delfino, and Boston police officer Woody Hoyt. On an a chance trip to Neptune, California, Susan met software tycoon Jake Kane. The two bonded at a bar over Alias and would later marry and return to Fairview, Connecticut to her old life.

Now back in Connecticut, Susan is finally happy with her new husband, her best friends and a new baby girl on the way. Once a desperate, single mother, Susan is now finally living up to her potential. She's a friendly face in the midst of crisis and danger, and she's devoted to her family and friends. She's close to her teenaged daughter Julie, and has just given birth to her second daughter, Sydney Emerson.

Susan recently accepted a position as Chief Storyboard Artist on set of a currently untitled project from veteran television producer Erica Henderson. She'll be helping out around the set as much as she can, and it's a family affair; Julie volunteers on set as much as she can. With a new job ahead of her, Susan is both excited and nervous.

Now, living with the divorced millionaire that she loves, Susan is steps away from the perfect life she envisioned for herself. Completely in love, with a baby and a street full of best friends, what could go wrong for such wonderful a woman?
