Susan Mayer-Kane is the wife of Jake Kane, the mother of Julie Mayer and Sydney Mayer-Kane and takes place in an AU universe of seasons 1 and 2 of Desperate Housewives and is also AU of seasons 1 and 2 of Veronica Mars.
